Wiki Weak Leak Lick

The word Wiki is a Hawaiian word that was popularised by Wikipedia. It means quick. Wikipedia is essentially a quick reference website.

What do one make out of the title of this posting then? A quicky thats weak? Licking back a leak?

No ... this posting is not about Wikipedia but about Wikileak. It's got to do with something weak but there will be no licking.

Just some cautionary words on Wikileak. Even Raja Petra cautioned his readers here to not assume Malaysia Today as news portal because it is a psywar machinery.

Malaysia and Wikileak

The first Wikileak on Malaysia broke out of a Sydney based newspaper in December 2010. It was a cable of discussion between Singapore foreign affairs people bitching about Malaysia and few notable politicians with their Australian diplomat.

Raja Petra published a photo of himself with Julian Assange in London on Malaysia Today recently here and announced he had an understanding with the founder of Wikileaks. He claimed he has more 4,000 cables on Malaysia in his hand .

As expected, he is releasing the cables. The first cable being about Dato Seri Najib's inner circle. Someone tipped off that many more will surface between 20-28th May.

Before that Asia Sentinel wrote an article with regard to the murder of Altantunya. One can guess that the cable could have come from Raja Petra.

Before one get spellbound by Raja Petra's storytelling of fact interspersed with fiction, season with salt, spiced with blackpepper and flavored by herbs like thyme, rosemary and basil, never take any information as absolute truth.

A cautionary article written by Professor Michael Chossudovsky, a regular speaker at Perdana Global Peace Foundation (then Organisation) on the Global Research website was reproduced in this blog. Read again: Who is behind Wikileak?

The Wikileak in Raja Petra's possession should not only be about political personalities from the Government side. Will he play fair to release something on Anwar and the other side?

Australian Wikileak

The first Wikileak on Malaysia sounded more like Singaporean intelligence talking with their Australian counterpart and informing their American counterpart, the then US Deputy Secretary of Defense.

They discussed the declining state of Malaysia under the then Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

The Singaporean believed that Anwar commited sodomy and that sent Anwar into a ceramah frenzy tour to highlight another part of the Wikileak. The cable mentioned the Singapore Special branch believed Dato Seri Najib is implicated in the murder of Altantunya.

The time of the cable is likely around the time before the Altantunya murder court. The reason being they - Singapore agents and Australian together with the American - were concerned for Khairy who was under heavy shelling.

Read back Rocky Bru here, Azmi Anshar's NST column here, and other sources.

Asia Sentinel Leak

The Asia Sentinel leak was published online on May 17th. The suspicion is the cable information has to be from Raja Petra.

He is developing a new storyline or perhaps highlighting another side to his old storyline, thus he would refrain from writing anything new about Najib and the Altantunya murder until the story develops.

There won't be Big Dog to kacau this time because he has smeared him as calling Ku Li kedekut (miser). Wonder what is the motive behind that awful lie.

Refering to our posting here, the new information is that Abdullah is believed to have a hand to implicate Najib so that he can stay on. This piece of information helps to reinforce a theory or more accurately a hypothesis in this blog that Khairy was involved in the attempt to implicate Najib.

The glaring thing about Asia Sentinel report is that it is based on too many speculation. The diplomat "speculated that the trial was being deliberately delayed and feared what one cable calls "prosecutorial misconduct.""

They mentioned of "an intriguing allegation that then Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi may have attempted to use the proceedings to implicate Najib, a claim that was quickly hushed up in the Malaysian press."

The piece made a simplistic conclusion that "Abdul Razak Baginda, one of Najib's best friends and Altantuya's lover, was accused of participating in the murder but was freed without having to put on a defense."

Having spoken to Razak's lawyer, that is not the case. He was held and had cooperated in a thorough investigation. He has said it all in the affidavits. His lawyers believed he should not be called.

Don't blame the AG only lah. Why didnt the defense lawyers called Razak to the stand?

Nevertheless, this was the only single issue raised by Karpal Singh in his so-called role as doing watching brief for the family of Altantunya. Karpal acknowledged that Altantunya was only Razak's lover, not a translator or defense dealmaker, as Asia Sentinel speculated.

Interestingly, they reported that the alleged cable was "replete with accounts of a long series of meetings with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who repeatedly told the Americans that Najib was connected to corrupt practices in the acquisition of the submarines as well as the purchase of Sukhoi Su-MCM-30 Flanker fighter jets from Russia."

Now we know where the American got their information. The liar himself.

The likelihood is the American did not do a thorough legal analysis of the proceeding in the court. Is their cable merely on hearsay? No class man, the political desk of the US Embassy.

Malaysia Today's Wikileak

On May 19th, two days after Asia Sentinel's so-called Wikileak expose, it was Malaysia Today's turn to release their first expose - A preliminary look at Najib's network.

Thank god, my name is not in there. Otherwise, it would be credible. Hehehe ... just joking.

The list of names of the political associates is interesting. Let me pick: Are they so sure that Zahid Hamidi, Johan Jaafar, and Zin Mohamad are in Najib's political inner circle?

If so, why was Zin not given a Minister post? Words are he is quite taken a back.

Or perhaps, hopefully some bloggers who have recently been whacking Zin realised, Zin is Najib's key man in Selangor UMNO?

Looking at the list of so-called companies associated with Najib and Rosmah, does the American realised that CIMB is too family to be allies? Their analysis is faulty. Do they realised that Nazir is more from Tun Dol's regime and more typical of 4th Floor boys than of Najib's boys?

Hong Leong as Najib's associate? The Mat Salleh is drunk or something? Hong Leong is Anwar's corporate backer.

Symphony House is more Nor Yakcop than Najib. And Nor Yakcop is more Anwar and Abdullah than Najib's.

The mention of Syed Mokhtar as Najib's business associate shows these American must have hired some local who prepared such paper by merely referring to newspaper, believed to be The Star.

Not many people, even in UMNO, understand Syed Mokhtar. He is too intriguing and mysterious to be analysed in such simplistic manner.

Salahuddin Ayub and Mahfuz Omar should reanalysed their allegation of Syed Mokhtar with regard to the issue on merger of Bank Islam and Bank Muamalat. LOL.

Kenneth Eswaran as crony of Rosmah? Will stop commenting. ROTFL.

OK OK ... Wikileak is about correspondance by Americans. Remember guys, American are so insular. They are lousy about geography, history and anything other than America. They are full of themselves to be right in their perspective.

They once claimed the New York Cosmos as the World Soccer Champion.

It could be useful and could be not. Your info is as good as mine. The difference is can you check it up.

Wikileak anyone? Yeah ... sure.

if u look back at malaysian stories written for asia sentinel, the writer is anil netto, a pro-dap, pakatan guy.

he has a blog under his name, writing mostly about penang and how wonderful things are under pakatan.

in some other articles the writer on malaysia stories wrote anonymously but u can sense the same writing style as anil's.

but i believe there are other writers too - perhaps bar council type lawyers - based on some past articles.
