NO LABU AIRPORT
The same for you too, Mr Postman and Ong Tee Kiat.
NO LABU AIRPORT
Do I need to repeat again?
Deputy Prime Minister, Dato Seri Najib Tun Abdul Rajak repeated it again following an NST report that Tan Sri Sulaiman Mahbob statement that EPU is still studying the proposal. Najib made it clear to all these amigos that Sime Darby does not have the money to build an LCCT. Neither does Air Asia.
Tony's dream airport will have to be build on KLIA. There is just no reason not to do it there. KLIA is built with two parallel runways. It is built with plans 4 runaways with a runaway each next to the existing runaways. How could there be swamp land next to an existing runaway?
This is exactly what Tony doesn't want. Tony wants a piece of the retailing concession at the Airport. And, this is something he can't have. KLIA is not allowed to charge at full cost for Airport charges, so it is compensated with income from retailing concession. All the claims that Tony made about KLIA over charging is total lie! Read on for many more exposures on Tony's lies and slimy aviation practises.
On the same description, the repeated claim by Johore-originate EPU DG cum Postman, Tan Sri Sulaiman Mahbob raised the suspicion that Sime Darby's racoon Chairman, Tun Musa(ng) was up to something. Sime Darby is in a state of panic. They have made a major RM800 million loss in a Qatar deal. Whose behind it? Ask Khairy? Perhaps, he knows. In case the 'Setiakawan' boys go crackpot, I am not saying he is involved.
Aside from Sime Darby Watch, KMU Johor has a story on the Qatar deal also. Is Sime Darby so desperate that it needs IJN and Labu Airport to cover that humongous loss? Words are they are doing a 'force' takeover of the Civil Service Golf Curse at Kiara.
Air Asia's Aviation Mispractise
Let's start by the revelation that it is against aviation regulation and practise for passengers to walk on tarmac to board the Airplane for International flights. That is only practise at the Subang in the 60s and 70s.
It is considered a security issue. How long will Air Asia refuse an aerobriedge? Till a passenger get sucked into the engine? Till a group of passengers turn out to be terrorist sabotageour?
According to IATA regulation, Aircraft carrying passengers of about 180 per plane will have to open at least 4 check-in counters. Air Asia only open 2 and that explains for the long queue.
By the way, Air Asia is not a member of IATA. Thus all those claim they are a world beater company is all hogwash crap. They can't even meet IATA's standard!
MAS close their counter 20 minutes before take-off but Air Asia closed their's 40 minutes before. The long queue and long wait after close counter lead to the Airport congestion. But Tony, in the like of Anwar Ibrahim, blame others, namely MAB!
Our world beater refuse MAB's mechanical baggage handling system. For them, it is all cost. What they do in replacement is use labour. It's nostalgic, like in the old Subang Airport, where manual baggage handling was used.
Air Asia's plane turnaround is fast at 20 minutes compared to 1 hour for legacy airlines. For legacy airline, that practise is required, in mechanical language, to 'cool the aircraft engine, landing system, hydraulic, etc.' Perhaps, Air Asia has some systems unknown to many.
Imagine the workload on the poor baggage handlers to meet the 20-minute deadline. As a result of the physical strain, medical leave and abstenteeism is high. Tony's solution is briliant, a monthly incentive of RM500 a month for no MC. Low cost carrier controling cost.
Now the lies on high Airport charges. We've seen the comparatives in a past posting. With out having to compare, lets understand how the derivation is made.
The formula that takes into account KLIA's daily cost, domestic and international flight ratio, and cheaper charges for domestic to that of international, almost half.
However, Government do not allow for full charge in order to be competitive and it is compensated with revenue from concessions. So the airport charges of KLIA is desingned to cheaper, thus making Tony's claim a farce.
Be it Legacy Airline or Low Cost Carrier, the basic airport services for departure, taxing, parking bay, and landing are the same. The other services are add-ons.
For Air Asia, which does not use any of the add-on services of KLIA, they are given 50% subsidy from the Government for Airport charges. LCC Air Asia's passengers airport charges are given 50% off regular Airlines. Did anyone remember Tony's claim that they did not get Government subsidy and are competitive? World beater my foot!
And yet, the Airport charges paid by Air Asia's customers are not reimburse and paid to MAB. The outstanding runs to as high as RM150 million. At one time, Air Asia refuse to pay for maintenance done by MAS Engineering, Penerbangan Malaysia Bhd had to pay for them. Then there is the Rural air Service.
The problem with Air Asia is poor planning. They started their businessas as a point-to-point air service and not intended for passenger transfer. Thus, their facility are not meant to cope with the changing model.
Air Asia is greedy. They wanted an LCCT all over the country and reach out to destinations all over the world. They requested all states to build them a terminal. In the case of Ipoh, after MAB spent some money to accomodate them, they stopped service within a month. Lets wait if they actually use the newly built Melaka Airport.
In Penang, the DAP Government created a fictitous story of abuse to claim MAB charged RM1 million for four toilets. It turnout to be four sets of toilets -male, female and handicap - and include other renovations. With a sleight of hands, Lim Guan Eng created a situation to impose MAB to agree to built an LCCT in Penang for Air Asia with money from the State.
Does anyone wonder what is the implication of the free seating in the event of an accident?
On the plane parking issue, it is a case of no planning. There are no Airport in the world with ample space for parking. But still, Air Asia gets allocated with 36 domestic bay at KLIA. Their complain arise because their wide body long haul jets of Airbus A330 takes up few bays meant for A320s. A case of bad planning.
In Airline business, they have to work together with the Airport service. Their plans have to be divulge so the airport can make the necessary plan or adjustment. All these are heavy capital investment, not like opening a neighbourhood Mamak store. Air Asia couldn't even provide their business plan one year ahead.
Having Air Asia as client for MAB is a headache. Not only their are particularly with their schedule, they disrupt and caused frequent delays to others. In the morning, they crowd the morning slot for take-off to the point MAS and other airlines had to giveway for them.
This disrupt Airport management of take-off and landing slots. Airport would preferably smoothen the take-off and landing to avoid peaks. Despite all these, MAB remain a repectably and award winning International Airport?
Whats the implication? Lets save the scary technical details. Anyone trust Air Asia to manage Airport now?
Something rotten in SDE
Many are curious as to why Sime Darby a trimerger of three major plantation company and yet doing generic typical uninnovative businesses. Lets touch base with this revelation.
KMU Johor wrote an article that was a revelation of the Qatar deal. It seems Sime Darby Engineering were doing work for a VO amounting to RM800 million for work with Qatar Oil. But the internal work paid was made out to a Company called Incoblis Consulting. The contract was revealed in full.
Would the Director, Shahiman Ibrahim be some Ibrahim's son living in Bangi? But Ibrahim is a common name. Maybe Khairy can ring a bell of someone by the name of Abdul Salam? Just asking.
It seemed there has been a series of such misappropriation of funds. Another involves a Company called Duplex Engineering Sdn Bhd. DPE supposedly had worked with SDE on a project awarded by Petronas Carigali. All work was only done by SDE but DPE was paid for RM5 million and written in the books as business development.
If the explanation is insufficiently clear, go to Sime Darby Watch and KMU Johor.
Are these the kind of practises rampant in 'Sime Darby Engineering'? This is Sime Darby a Public Listed Company owned by Khazanah. Many years ago, one Chairman of a PLC company explained that as their listing status makes it difficult to do thsi kind of deals thus for the less that desirable performance.
But it is this kind of practises that will kill any Company, irrespective of its size and stature. All these are happening under Musa Hitam's very nose; the man claimed to be untainted by money and adviser to Mr Clean.

U speculate and distort, are u sure KJ is involved? Fitnah ni lebih teruk dari membunuh yo. You better check betul betul. Plus the project is PFI, the risk assumed by Tony the capitalist. what is the big deal? KLIA pun boleh share with Firefly.
Uikssss...Musa pun dah dengar cakap KJ, apa jawatan - office boy ke..'Kurang ajar' betul - itu saranan Musa yang popular..
Saya tak tahu, saya hanya ingin tahu, betul ke ?
Read carefully boys ...
I am not entertaining comment thats childish. Sorry, democrasy and openness have its limit.
Polar Bear
If you have money and take the risk, you can do whatever you want?
DSNTR has emphatically put his feet down. Tahniah sebesar-besarnya. But this will not necessarily mark the end of the episode unless and until the following have been established :-
1.The unseen hands. Sulaiman Mahbob, OTK and Tony may just be gambits in the whole scheme of thing:-
2. The hidden agenda. In all likelihood there is no genuine desire to build a LCCT at Labu. There may be a grand design that has ramifications on national interest and national security.
In this context, the question raised by blogger Pasquale recently on the competency of our intelligence agencies is very much relevant.
NO LABU AIRPORT….
Salam Perjuangan.

AIR ASIA
WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE AIRPORT TAXES (THAT ARE PREPAID ON PURCHASE)FROM THE UNUSED FLIGHT TICKETS.I AM VERY SURE A LOT OF US HAD IN ONE TIME OR ANOTHER MISSED FLIGHTS OR CANCELLED THE JOURNEY.SHOULDN'T THEY BE REFUNDED. AND WHEN AUDITED, HOW IS IT ACCOUNTED FOR?
I WANDER IF THE GOVERNMENT IS BEING PAID PROMPTLY BY THE GREAT AIR ASIA OR ARE THEY NEGOTIATING WITH THE MOF FOR A HAIRCUT LIKE THEY DO TO MAB AND MAS.MAYBE AS PAYBACK THEY PROVIDE SEATS FOR GOVT TRAVEL ON THEIR FLIGHTS AT FULL IATA FARES TO CONTRA THEIR DEBTS.WHAT A FRAUDSTER.
Bro_Jinggo
Don't get too cliche.
I specifically said KJ is not involve. Not even a suspicion.
Don't get caught with my another makan cili rasa pedas again.
I am putting a poser if KJ knows the names mentioned?
My source says he does. But I am still not saying he is involved. There is no link.
P/S For your screaming friend, he is banned here. He is too irritatingly childish.
You, I don't mind.
Wenger, where are you on this one? Still marah dgn air Asia?
Hi Voicey,
I think the others have more or less said the obvious, but I have another theory.
In the old days, pepper was worth its weight in gold and then some. A story without "KJ" is just not the same, so the way I look at it, you are defferring to the KJ-oomph factor by including his name in this story, and then excluding it.
Whether pro or anti, we just can't get enough of him. What a man, honestly.
Yeah - I still marah with Air Asia, hopefully KLIA will jack up the price.
