Pinning Najib down: Syed Abdul Rahman spoke. What SD they will think of next?

My batchmate in boarding school, a decorated army major, once described to me the psychological ordeal he underwent after killing several communists in a jungle border operation more than 20 years ago. He said, "I am trained to kill and yet I had trouble dealing with the fact that I had taken someone's life."

Malays described that psychological ordeal as "badi" or haunting conscience that is the after effect from the act of murder. It is "badi" that haunts many that committed murder to eventually give themselves up. I can't recall the event but it was told to me that Dato Mokhtar Hashim was haunted by this "badi" and given himself up.

Unless one had been reprogrammed from childhood to be heartless like gangster Botak Chin, it is not easy for any common person to "pull the trigger" on someone. This has been always been my difficulty to give Raja Petra Kamaruddin's third party Statutory Declaration any benefit of the doubt.

There is yet any evidence to support that allegation. It's not convincing for Rosmah with her background to present herself to witness Altantuya's murdered body to be blown up.

Murder is one capital offense one do not make silly accusation. The evidence requirement in court is stringent. Not only, the burden of proof lies with the accuser or prosecutor and it is beyond reasonable doubt or there must be no room for any doubt.

Since RPK's SD, many more SD has surfaced. There are Bala's SD and reverse SD that has implication on alleged Najib's sexual adventure with the late Altantuya. Recently, there is Dr Osman of Pusrawi's SD to reaffirm his published ineligible "cacing kerawit" examination notes that there are no medical evidence of sodomy on Saiful's body. The latest from RPK's Malaysia Today is allegation that Najib and Rosmah employed Hindu "bomoh".

SDs are one-side declaration and version of events. It's truth is still subject for investigation or otherwise could be brushed aside as hearsay. The burden of truth and with reasnable doubt lies with the accuser.

While the same people that believed the SD, they reject the denial "sumpah" by Najib and "mubahalah" declaration by claimed victim Saiful. The public seemed to believe what they want to believe.

Conspiracy theories based on bits and pieces of fact and pieced together by guesswork is more acceptable. Conclusions made by police and prosecutor derived from fact and finding from compilation of evidence and investigation does not convince them. It doesn't help that Anwar's conspiracy psywar and ACA reports had erode public's confidence of the Police Chief and Attorney General.

One aspect of the perception that implicate Najib with the Altantuya's murder case are claims of information coming from the Mongolian Honorary Consul-General to Malaysia, Dato Syed Abdul Rahman Alhabshi.

Syed Abdul Rahman has finally spoke. After Najib's repeated the denial "sumpah" made in UMNO's closed door meeting at Masjid Jamek Guar Perahu, he came forward to Najib's defense. As the person who had personally gone to Mongolio and visited teh late Altantuya's family, he couldn't find any evidence linking Najib or his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor to the crime.

Najib not involved, says honorary consul-general

BUTTERWORTH: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is not involved in the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, Mongolian honorary consul-general to Malaysia Datuk Syed Abdul Rahman Alhabshi said.

He said he had personally gone to Mongolia and visited Altantuya’s family and friends but could not find any evidence linking Najib or his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor to the crime.

“This is the first time I have made the announcement because I wanted to be certain and careful in my investigation,” he said when visiting the Barisan Nasional operations centre in Permatang Pauh last night.

Syed Abdul Rahman has been assisting Altantuya’s family from the moment of her death to the murder trial which had reached the submission stage in the prosecution case.

He said it was also illogical that Rosmah witnessed the murder as alleged in a news portal.

He added that Anwar was not telling the truth.

“I will not let him tarnish a popular leader like Najib. His accusation is tarnishing the good relationship between Malaysia and Mongolia,” he said.

Bernama quoted him as saying: “Datuk Seri Najib’s swearing is true and it is accepted that he has no connection with Altantuya.

“Not one document, photograph or video involved Najib.”

He said no one knew more about the case than him and the confusion could affect the good relations between Malaysia and Mongolia.

Killing another person is not as easy as slapping a mosquito ... but Anwar & RPK try their to convince people the opposite of it ... unfortunately the ANWAR/RPK believers believe everything that comes from these people's mouth

Sekarang ni aku nampak penyokong PAS pun dah macam fanatik kat anwar.. contoh ramai kawan-kawan aku..

Hahaha...what ridiculousness. It never ends. Why one race's supremacy will be drowned out with the winning of PR and so on. Why keep apartheid when almost everywhere in the world has clearly renounced it. Can you tell me if there's any country left in the world practises discriminatory laws as enshrined in their constitution for its citizens? Yes, discrimination exists everywhere but it is not because of the laws but the acts of humans themselves, who has is a creature of habits, possessing likes and dislikes, beliefs and customs that are hardcore and hard to break.

In a way, they are mocking the laws in our country. They play around with their 'SD-s' and obviously they didn't have any respect towards it.
Even sadder, there are people who are willing to believe the craps RPK dished out
