Hits and Misses

Over the years, we've hit lots of targets. However, we do have our misses and errors.

It is not in the main story but more on the side story.

And it is about the MyEG.com side story in the posting on the leakage in the tender of a system meant for Kastam dan Eksais Diraja Malaysia. Read here.

In our story, we wrote:
It's Managing Director is Singaporean Wong Thean Soon. He holds 209 million shares.

Melayu get shares for selling influence but do nothing. Did not get knowledge, skill and management experiance...  WTF!
Please do not vote for Dr Norraessah for Majlis Tertinggi UMNO.

Furthermore, what the duck is a Company with Singaporean as founder and most likely major and controlling shareholder be awarded access to all information with regard to our Government and citizens?
In the source linked, we missed below:

WONG THEAN SOON

Managing Director
Wong Thean Soon, a Malaysian aged 41, was appointed to the Board on 6 March 2000. He is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
This NRIC below proves:

Wong Thean soon is a Malaysian, thus MyEG.com is Malaysian owed and controlled.

We apologise to Wong and MyEG.com on that error. It is our mistake to have presumed that MyEG.com was the company linked to Singapore via Kalimullah that could leak private information on Malaysians.

Believe it has to do with the Inland Revenue Department.

It is our practise to correct and highlight what is factually known to be wrong. We would also give space for response to any denial or correction. So don't just simply sue to shut us up. It neither scare us nor do we give a damn.

We entertain differing views and commentary as long as it is not insulting and not some cheap diversionary tricks meant to steer discussions from the subject in hand. Don't try to fool this old hand whose done it, did it.

However, we are sticking with our story as provided by our source that MyEG.com has link, legally or otherwise with Brilliance Information in the Kastam project.

Unless a denial comes out in the press, we will also stick with our story that MyEG.com had manouvred to unfairly oust their competitor to make themselves sole concessionaires to the e-government project.

Someone from MyEG.com tried to get to us but we are not interested to meet yet. Fed-up with intention to meet just to ask to put down postings.

It is our biggest pantang when someone trying to get in touch with us for the only purpose of asking to bring down postings like what Dato Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis did.

Furthermore, if politicians can deny or explain their side of allegations by blogs and social media, why not corporations and business people? Aren't they the one who talks loudly demanding for more good governance and transparency?

Do not bullshit about corporate governance and transparency! They practise pyramid organisation structure and usually works hard to hush hush bad news about them including using lawsuits.

Time they talk and be more transparent too. Do they realised their press statements are usually standard lines .... boring, mundane, predictable and no contents?

If not for their makan makan ..., it is not worth entertaining most of these company's corporate communication people. They hardly tell anything exciting and newsworthy!
