Tommy Thomas, Noor Farida, and Prof Shad fighting for a "worthless" statute

DAP Charles Santiago's grouse with the four "Professor Kangkung" was their warning to the Malay Rulers that as Supreme Commander, the Agong is open to the risk of being prosecuted by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

It is no new material. Tun Dr Mahathir's childish quarrel with TMJ insinuated of a vocal royal opposing Rome Statute for the pleasure of beating people up.

If Tommy Thomas is true at the UM Forum to say no such risk since any military action is a civilian government decision, then Mahathir is laying blame to the Supreme Commander of the Johor Military Force.

As written in earlier postings, the ICERD and Rome Statute issues could have been laid to rest if not for the stubborn Foreign Minister, Dato Saifuddin Abdullah.

Tommy Thomas: One boo boo after another, a "wayang" to follow

Talk at the courts is the 11-member AGC team on the SRC case is facing a snag. Tommy Thomas was angered by the new revelations by defense that he screamed "lazy bum!" at his legal team.

Tommy's unbecoming behaviour is certainly no morale booster for his team members, who are sick and tired with AGC being made used off to pander to Tun Dr Mahathir's revenge and political witch hunting. His first case as prosecutor looks likely to end up as a loss. The case will fall apart the moment Shafee and his team start attacking the issue of entrustment and dominion over the money.

Over the weekend, Tommy Thomas participation in the Rome Statute Forum added more controversies to his already long list. IGP was reported saying Rome Statute Forum at UM is under probe for sedition and AG will be investigated along. His revelation of BN government's intent to rectify the Statute does not hold up.

AGC may not cooperate by not charging Tommy and the other penalists, especially Dr. Syed Husin Ali. However, it will only confirm the growing perception that AG is not as fair minded as many claimed him to be, but instead bias and bigot.

Since retracting Lim Guan Eng's corruption case, the sniggering in the legal community is on the claimed Constitutional expert's true expertise as a retraction specialist.

Another case over the weekend will certainly blow over and destroy further his reputation. This retraction will remind the public of Guan Eng's case.

STING, STAFOC, STAGG and smartass

Many may have heard the line, "The law is an Ass".

That quotation is neither insulting the law nor law enforcement. It was a title of a book of anecdotes in the practise of law that makes no common sense.

Same with the intention of this posting. Before moving into the subject matter on  disbandment of police elite forces - STING, STAFOC, and STAGG, there is this story about ass that reached our smartphone this morning.

It's a Sunday. It is intended to start light.

Will Koon Yeow get upset now that is known PTMP PDP consortium partner is a bankrupt?

In the posting on Chow Koon Yeow losing his temper on BfM, he mentioned the tender process on the Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) including the Penang South Reclamation project is still on-going.

Chow reiterated the total cost forecasted is RM46 billion and was upset with an interviewer because the radio station earlier quoted from The Star's estimated cost for the project of RM70 billion.

Will Chow be upset now that the social media is viraling a published banruptcy notice of Tan Sri Ooi Kee Liang with the message that allagedly claiming:
Wah... Penang govt awarded the RM46 billion PTMP project to a company where the owner is bankrupt?
The viraled notice dated March 29th is as below:

Is there a mystery hand orchestrating the SRC deposit, BMM raid, and leak to WSJ?

In a previous posting HERE, doubt was raised on a BNM officer ability to quote exact clause of the law contravened in his police report about half an hour after the raid on Ambank office.

The subsequent witnesses seemed be giving glowing words of Dato Najib's generosity that a commentator twitter asked where is the part Najib is the "pencuri, penyamun dan perompak" (thief, bandit and robber)?

Husin Lempoyang hinted Mahathir's "mencuri, menyamun dan merompak" or his plundered wealth can be seen in his children.

Today's witness, Umi Devi spent a whole day reading from text. Who prepared for the bank officer? Why was she allowed to read prepared text instead of being cross examined by the DPP? Does she has hearing problem thus could not do a Q&A?

Yesterday, prosecutor raised a pertinent issue, in which RM42 million of RM104 million of SRC money went to Najib's account, but what happen to the rest?

MMO reported:

Will DAP's preferred David Wong be the next CJ?

Tan Sri Richard Malanjum last day in office was on April 13th. He retired  after 27 years in the judiciary.

The glowing tributes began to pour in to describe his journey from Tuaran to top office at the Justice of Palace as epic. Bar Council President attributed his short tenure as making an indelible mark.

Naturally, Sabah Law Society would gave him the highest tribute as leaving behind a legacy.

Chief Justice for Sabah and Sarawak, Datuk David Wong Dak Wah gave tribute to Mulanjam's mobile unit initiate to resolve citizenship issues in Sabah. The former DAP candidate for Sandakan is said to be one of the candidate to replace Mulanjum.

There was no farewell ceremony but his last message pen as Frank Sinatra's song, My Way was to ask to protect the judiciary

He seek from his colleagues, “All I ask from you is to protect the judiciary no matter what others may say".

Chow Koon Yeow: "Benda boleh marah. Buat apa jawab"

A new fad on Social Media now is the one liner: Thing can be ... Why ...?

There is: Things can rebrand, Why change government? Things can be accuse, why investigate? Things can be pissed on, Why honour promise? Things can be fake certificate, Why study?

The permutation is endless and funny.

This audio viralling of BFM interview with Penang CM, Chow Koon Yeow can be posed with the same question:

Things can be angry  Why need to answer?

Its an approach to evade question. It only means something is not right ...

CEO from and Market goes Down Under, but Daim up and under

Bursa Malaysia CEO is from down under. It looks like the stock market went down under too. It is being seen as the worse performing market in the world.

Partly, it was the lackadaisical attitude of the previous SC Chairman, Ranjit Singh, whose more keen to be polis or jagah than developing market.

Yet certain budak-budak cina in SC, which are empowered with approval authority, is rampantly taking kickbacks and delaying approvals.

It is not believable to have escaped Ranjit's radar. Nothing racist as source is Chinese and it is quoted verbatim.

UBS proclaimed it has stayed off Malaysia for 5 years.

Capitalism has outlived its existence

Our personal gut feel, on the present day economic model based on endless growth is that it is unrealistic and will breakdown.

The capitalistic model is complimented by a money system of  conventional banking and financial structure based on an  underlying time value of money and preservation of asset of the wealthy through "risk-free" return bearing instrument. It is similarly based on endless growth too.

A matter of time, it will outrun its course as a result of growth in the financial side of economy is not in-sync with the growth in real economy of generated real goods and real services.

Growth in the financial economy will outdo and not in preportion with growth in real economic to eventually result in over-inflated value of financial asset.

It is unsustainable and given time, the pre-determined growth of capitalist economic model will fall apart as it is not based on a model dedicated to serve humanity.

Adib, Razali, Johor MB: Things are not always what they seem?

Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden.

Phaedrus
At the Teoh Beng Huat Inquest, the weird looking Dr Porntip from Thailand had a differing view from the other three local and professional experts.

Together with the coordinating DPP's affidavit at the end of the Inquest, the common view was there was no murder. But the coroner took the perceived to be politically safe conclusion as not conclusive.

In the case of the Inquest on death of fireman Adib Muhammad, the DPP filed an affidavit to conclude he was not beaten.

But there is an expert from UKM and witnesses claiming otherwise, and Inquest is still on-going. Comfortably, the Seaview's Mariamman Temple Committee withdrew several of their applications.

Does that not conform to the quotation of a member of philosopher Socrates's inner circle above?

DPP's affidavit midst of Adib's Inquest contemptous

Adib (left) and DPP Hamdan Hamzah

The withdrawal of Seafield Mariamman Temple Committee's several applications related to the Inquest on the death of fireman Muhammad Adib raised concern on the coordinating DPP.

DPP Hamdan Hamzah committed a strange action to submit his affidavit to say Adib's death was not due to being beaten.

His affidavit is made when the Inquest is still on-going and could be viewed as influencing the outcome of the Inquest.

This can amount to contempt of court. But why did the coroner allowed it?

Zukri, Zaiton: From liar to moron, From destroy to bailout

Dato Zaiton Hasan and Dato Zukri Samat continued their trailblazing lies over the weekend.

Hoping the public attention is on Rantau by-election and their lies, half truth and cover-up of their cock-up will not be notice.

They can hoodwink the Pak Cik pencen, whose life is only commuting to and from surau 5 times a day and could only comprehend news headline.

But not everybody.

Zukri used to claim the restructuring scheme involving SPV is not a bailout. Lim Guan Eng acknowledged indirectly that MOF is doing a bailout, but is passing the buck to Azmin.

Dato Najib exposed Zukri as a moron.

The Zaiton-Zukri-Faiz PWC designed scheme, in cahoot with Zeti and Nor Shamsiah of BNM, and forced upon Prokhas's Chan by Tony Pua is literally a failure. These schemers destroyed TH and now bailing it out.

Daim should fire these reckless morons!

With days numbered, is Tommy seriously charging Mat Hasan?

Witch hunting is not working.

PH days are numbered. Public hatred is on the rise and fast. Exposure on BN past wrongdoings will not catch on with the public.

If Tommy Thomas wish to make a political case of Dato Mohamad Hasan, his numbered days will end faster than he expected.

And, the people he is covering up for could not be protected any more soon.

An old case of yesterday's Rantau by-election winner and former MB of Negeri Sembilan cum acting President of UMNO was revived during the last desperate days of campaign by PKR voices.

A source alerted yours truly yesterday that Attorney General, Tommy Thomas is seriously looking to charge Mat Hasan soon.

That will only make PH being seen as sore loser. The more Dato Najib highlight the weakness of PH administration, the more he get charged.

The more they do so, the more public will not believe this charges or court decisions.

PRK Rantau: Mahathir did not come to campaign [updated]

The outcome for the Rantau by-election has  many uncertainties and no side could claim to be able to wrap up the voters.

After campaigning ended midnight last night and so does the message, dirt dig up, and psywar, it now comes down to "transport" to get their white voters out and how the game of numbers turns out.

Whatever the outcome, the absence of Tun Dr Mahathir from campaigning is of interest.

Words in Rantau he was to appear at the grand final campaign last night with Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, but he announced not attending yesterday's late afternoon.

RM650k Merc for new Bursa CEO

At a time the government asked the people to "ikat perut" (tighten their belt) and it was said by no less than Tun Dr Mahathir himself,

Bursa Malaysia apparently bought a RM650,000 latest model Mercedes Benz for its new CEO.

It was said that one reason the previous Bursa CEO, Datok Tajuddin Attan did not get his contract extended was his high salary.

Another reason many CEOs, Chairmen and BOD members of GLCs got sacked immediately by new government sacked were their perceived involvement with the ruling party

Both Mahathir and Chairman of CEP, Tun Daim Zainuddin said GLC CEOs should not be getting multi-million ringgit salary package.

It would mean government and GLCs should be on austerity drive and not spend money on wasteful perk like the latest launched 2018 Dream Collection Mercedes Benz that could fetch between RM530,000 to RM1.4 million.

Zukri is a M*th€® Fu¢&¡ng liar!!! [Updated]

Cross-eyed short man cannot be trusted

Datin Yatie planned a 4-series interview for Dato Zukri Samat with Berita Harian, but the first serie interview is already a disaster.

Who reads BH anymore, Yatie? Utusan and Harakah has better reach than BH. 😊

Zukri lied to the public and TH depositors. The ex-Utusan Dato Zaini, now of BENARcom.my, tried to convince his readers that Zukri is a righteous person. Seriously bad judge of character and shows inability to see beyond facade.

There were many lies in the interview (BH taken offline but part.of it available below) that was blatantly made, but the major lies he made were:

April 10th: Four years on, Tun still not convinving

Today is the 4th anniversary of our last engagement with Tun Dr Mahathir.

After four years, Mahathir came out of defeat in UMNO to come out victorious. Those that stuck with him are in positions in the corridor of power.

Among the many in that last meet, few returned back to where they are comfortable with in Putrajaya. There were one or two opportunist fishing from both ponds anonymously till today. And, one had passed away.

But, what Mahathir said in that last meet on April 10th 2015 proven right?

More than facial makeover and a spoonful of palm oil to revive industry

This makeover is not enough to revive palm oil

Tabung Haji's predicament is not because hiding the accounts, but market lost confidence with PH government and went down. It is highly exposed to palm oil, an investment that is supposed to be halal and conservative.

However, let us leave TH awhile for others to comment. Done enough and hope any attempt to do bank run failed.

The Star and The Edge attempt to allegedly sabotaged Malaysian palm oil on behalf of Lim Guan Eng and his insidious intention may have failed.

If not for the ridiculously "too clever Minister", the problem with the palm oil industry could have been addressed. For a vocal former opposition member, Teresa Kok turned out to be intellectually incapable as a Minister.

Her MyPalm Oil campaign with the girlie dancer on stage and the manner Tun Dr Mahathir suggest Malaysians to consume daily dose of palm oil as though its nutritional grade is equivalent to olive oil does not serve the cause. It will come to naught with a Minister so dizzy and blur.

It need beyond the makeover Tan Siok Choo's Sundaily article advocated for palm oil. A spoonful of palm oil a day is not enough. She needs more than a facial makeover. An English diction lesson for a start as she sounded exactly like Lina Lamont in the musical Singin' in the Rain.

Sabah's sadomasochistic obsession to be played out again by Mahathir

In his Facebook yesterday, Sabah political writer, Musli Oli appealed to Lim Guan Eng to request Tommy Thomas correct the proposed amendment of Article 1(2) of the Federal Constitution. It is supposed to be the "equal partner amendment" to revert back to the original version of the Malaysian Constitution in 1963.

It is a rather strange request, but our good friend could be serious in his own way. It  turned out he denied Tun Dr Mahathir's politicking is not all the time in his earlier posting. Mahathir is not in his element during his nightly rest.

It is Musli's sense of humour and typical cynical self in view of the confusing state of Sabah's current politics.

PPBM launched their entry into Sabah yesterday. This happened after former Sabah UMNO leaders, few elected representatives, and claimed 100,000 members crossed-over.

It came after several denials that PPBM will break their pre-GE14 promise with Warisan, including from Mahathir himself. Subsequently, PPBM justified their action and now are officially in.

Ah Sabah ...thought they changed, but they never could.

Before false hibah announcement, TH branches briefed on run on the Bank?

Answering enquiry in Parliament on when Tabung Haji will announce its hibah for 2018 from Parit Sulong MP cum newly appointed PAC Chairman, Dato Noraini Ahmad, Tun Dr Mahathir replied cabinet will deliberate on the issues related and make a decision this very morning.

Malaysiakini reported Mahathir guaranteed it will be announced soon.

Is it financially and technically possible? What sort of magic trick could enable new management of TH to do so? Any truth PWC, KSP and Auditor General refused to endorse new account?

The cabinet deliberation is a strange happening since decisions on TH matter is made at their Board of Directors and Minister-in-charge level.

Subsequently, it is proposed for cabinet to make a decision. The BOD, which is effectively led by Dato Zaiton Hasan and managed on behalf by Dato Zukri Samat, is unable to make a decision.

According to Mujahid and to quote The Edge report:
"Lembaga Tabung Haji will release its dividend to its depositors after the pilgrims fund resolves its compliance issue with the MFRS 9 accounting standard, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusof Rawa."

Guan Eng failed to show firm offer, Terowong style RFP?

Update on the two previous postings - HERE and HERE on the proposed sales of the Malaysia Building in Hong Kong.

Lim Guan Eng responded to Wee Ka Siong allegation he had mistaken Hong Kong dollar for Malaysian Ringgit to show a letters that could prove there was such an offer. When provoked, the egoistc and hot tempered Guan Eng reacted expectedly.

The Star video below of the press statements of Guan Eng and Ka Siong's immediate reply.

For more detailed PC, refer to Malaysiakini You Tube of Guan Eng's HERE and Wee Ka Siong's reply intentionally uncovered M'kini on his Facebook HERE.

The letter stated RM1.68 billion and was dated January 2019. Strange that Guan Eng did not go to town to gloat as RM1.7 billion.

Isra Mi'raj: Test of Faith

This week's spiritual conversations had been covering two ends of a pole between logic and rational vis-a-vis experience and mysticism.

At one end, it was about the book, Life of Muhammad by Eqyptian Hussein Heykal. It is an evidentiary account in the life and spiritual path of the prophet within scope of historical reality.

On the other end, it started with conversation in one the many family Whassapp groups on the nine brotherhood of Muslim Saints, Wali Songo that spread Islam to Java.

Though we are only clear of the lineage to another Saint, Kendil Wasi, our bloodline apparently extended to Sunan Muria as claimed by a late uncle.

It led to conversation in the esoteric area of sufism in the Sheikh Siti Jenar incident, the Malay Archipelago version of Ibn Arabi's AlHallaj. Then, it delved into sufi poets, Hamzah Fansuri and Jalaluddin Ar Rumi.

We were reminded of the commemuration of Isra Mi'raj on 27th of Rejab tonight (Islamic calendar commence from dawn). It is an incident of challenging poles.

Guan Eng foul mood, Red-handed flicking RM800 million!

After almost reaching a year as Minister of Finance, and two terms of close observation as Penang Chief Minister, it is sufficient to not believe the words of Lim Guan Eng.

Guan Eng argued he is innocent of Penang tunnel because former MP of Temerloh from PAS, Nasaruddin Hasan apologise for raising the issue in 2016. Since he claimed Penang tunnel linked projects is based on open tender, he expect us to believe him.

It is easy to spot Guan Eng is lying. Very easy...

One is when he argue incessantly, be it by out shouting or doing turn the table counter argument. That is him not answering the question as in the issue on the sales of Malaysia's Hong Kong Consulate!

Another is when he shows his anger as in the above video circulating in social media. It could be him caught trying to flick almost RM800 million from sale of the Consulate!

Sales of HK Consulate: Najib or Guan Eng "bodoh" or reporters "dibodoh"?

It is Tuesday today.

Today, the newspapers frontpage is providing background story of Dato Najib's SRC trial that should begin tomorrow. There is also yesterday RM1.5 billion tax bill slapped at Najib.

On April 3rd 10 years ago, Najib sworn in as the 6th Prime Minister, but on same date 10 years later, he is in the dock.

Before getting involved with the case coverage, last Tuesday there was an issue in Parliament that led to exchanges between Lim Guan Eng and Najib, MPs exchanging "bodoh" remarks on each other.

It started with issues raised on the sales of the government's Malaysia Building in Hong Kong that used to house the Malaysian High Commission office but since 1997, renamed as Malaysian Consulate General.

Najib expressed concern on government's intent to sell the 28 storey building.

My Say
